CARE-IN-HEALTH Reaches Key Milestones in Vascular Inflammation Research
The CARE-in-HEALTH project has marked a highly productive week, achieving two important milestones in advancing the understanding of chronic lipid-driven vascular inflammation.
In recent days, biosensor user testing sessions were conducted in collaboration with the teams from i3S – Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde and Seqvera Ltd. Oy. These sessions provided valuable feedback, contributing to the ongoing refinement and optimization of the technology developed within the project.
At the same time, the project officially launched its Resolvin clinical trial, aimed at evaluating the effects of omega-3 on lipid profiles. This represents a significant step toward translating scientific discoveries into tangible health outcomes.
The week also provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among European partners, who gathered at the Istituto Mario Negri. Bringing together teams from Portugal, Italy, and Finland, the meeting highlighted the strong cross-European cooperation at the core of CARE-in-HEALTH.
These achievements reflect the project’s continued momentum and its commitment to advancing cardiovascular research at the European level.
